Message -What are Stoptech's?

Usually when people refer to Stoptech they're refering to the big brake kit by StopTech. So StopTech is a company.

-How are Hawk Blue pads are tough on wheels?

From what I understand the more aggressive compounds in any 'race' brake pad are quite acidic when mixed with water.

-Is the brake dust somehow worse than other pads for the finish on your wheels? I'm running stock wheels, should I cover them in blue tape for track day? Or can I just clean the dust off them with a microfiber cloth after each track session? I do have a set of track wheels but no rubber for them yet and I have already spent too much on my Z YTD.

Tape isn't necessary, just make sure to clean them thoroughly with soap and water after each race weekend. Basically you don't want to drive in the rain with race pad then let the combination of dust and water sit on your wheels.
